For his maturity album, René Danger merges his voice singing in Breton and French with chiptune arpeggios, dub bass and syncopated rhythms.
Entirely composed on two trackers (LSDJ on Gameboy and Dirtywave M8), Gwerz Boy could be summed up with the portmanteau words gwerz-dub or chip-trad.
Since the Gameboy was hugely influential for the making of this album and for René Danger's music in general, he entirely developed a Gameboy game accompanying this release.
